All that we feel and all that we believe comes to us through sound and music.

Martina Eisenreich, Composer

Classical music, electronics, tradition, and archaism - composer Martina Eisenreich brings them all together. With her intricate and stirring compositions, she captivates audiences in concert halls, cinemas, and intimate art spaces alike.

Martina Eisenreich ranks among the most frequently performed composers in German orchestral concert series, while also standing out as one of Europe’s most successful film composers.

Her fascination with the archaic sounds of her native Upper Bavaria was kindled in early childhood. At fifteen, she began studying classical and contemporary music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, later touring as a violinist with her own band and discovering her love of dramaturgical work in film, opera and music theatre.

Her distinctive musical voice, shaped by a seamless fusion of worlds, has earned her numerous honors, including the German TV Award, the German Film Music Award (as its first female recipient and later a two-time winner), the German Record Critics’ Award, and the Upper Bavarian Culture Prize. Currently, she is nominated for the German Music Authors’ Award 2026, recognising her entire body of work.

Her most notable film compositions include the scores for the ARD series Herrhausen, nominated for the International Emmy Awards 2025, the Paramount series One Trillion Dollars, and Tatort, Germany’s most popular crime series. Her twisted and whimsical fairy-tale operetta Aschenbrödels Traum joined the repertoire of the Vienna Volksoper with its premiere on 29 November.
